Re: kool
definitely "kool".
I heard in the vid valves tapping...aren't roller lifts impossibly quiet?
and the plug holes unsleeved...shows it is not high compression.
that "little" engine has room to go...

but I want an ls for my monty SS
I have 5-6k ('89-90 money) in the 355 internal parts(short block)
this will take the ls heads, and I can use the th400/350/200r4 that I already have...
the motor mounts and other parts that hook right up to the SS
just need ls headers
it's a win win
I get a forged bottom with the best parts, and the ls top end...
the ls9 s/c fits under the hood

Re: kool
I would've thought that if this was such a killer combo, we would see more of them being built and used .....
Just get a set of "budget" aluminum heads and use what you have....IMOWhiskey for my men ... and beer for their horses!Comment

Re: kool
or just build an LS, its not expensive to put one in a chevy. conversion mounts are $60 and a trans spacer is $40Originally posted by BamfsterI would've thought that if this was such a killer combo, we would see more of them being built and used .....
