I once passed on a dry desert 1955 Chevy four door wagon, not a speck of rust, with a bad 6 cylinder, but with a good extra 6 in the back....for $100...because "who wants a 4 door station wagon?" Man, I was stupid in the 70's.Comment

Ahhhhh...ok!
Crazy, looking at the door gap at the top of the rear door, it appears the whole back of the car must have started to droop from the heat or something.

I was taught early on that heat does nasty things to metal and if it's hot enough to boil the paint off then the car is pretty much worthless. That's why I questioned the selling price on that wagon. I sure wouldn't touch it. :
