However many days it is, I just finished porting Shannon's heads. he keeps yelling at me to get his engine together saying I'm holding him up. Guess we'll find out if that is true this weekend when the engine is done. BTW BBC w twin 76's and................leaf springs - DOH!

I heard that Jeff may fire his up here real soon.I heard that at HPT this past Sat.Pleased me to the point I didnt search him out and bust his balls. ;D That and the fact it was to hot and to far to walk to Docs trailer. :D(slight hijack here) Jeff and James did you talk to the guy with the Corvette next to you(Todd Williams)? Todds a great guy.He is a fireman and in his spare time restores Vettes,Model A's and pedal cars.Ive known Todd since highschool.Not a better paint and body guy out there.

i finally bit the bullet and registered this morning! new trans is on the way from hughes (old one was going on 15 years and i dont trust it for a 1k road trip) and the car is going in for swingouts this weekend. if i didnt wait till the last minute to do this stuff it would take the fun out of it...lol

Trailer is finished and test fitted to the car.. Looks like all systems are GO!!! ;D 8) ;D 8) First thing on the trailer is a MASSIVE cooler for "refreshments".. ;)

I got some odds and ends to wrap up on the car, but I figured I should wait till tomorrow before doing them, it just would not fel right to have the car finished and loaded tonight!! It is bad juju for me to be ready ahead of time... :P

trans heat issues solved thank to jeff. threw the trailer on the car tonight and took the 100 mile round trip to the track and the trans never went over 180.. up some hills thru some traffic on the highway off the highway...its a beautiful thing. got to the track clicked off a 10.81,10.80,10.80 and then put the trailer on and headed to the diner...we are officially ready!

We are on I-95 heading out of florida pretty soon.. Had a hell of a day dealing with a mysterious brake problem that just decided to surface, and battled it all day! I didn't get it solved, but brakes are highly overrated!! Lol

GPS says we will roll into Hebron around 4:30 in the afternoon.. I am one tired puppy. See u guys there!
