Re: Ford's on a Roll
We put out better than expected profits, and our stock price goes DOWN around $1, yet - Toyota's bad press has hardly touched thier stock price.....
I will never understand.
Somehow - I don't think this profit will result in any bonuses for us rank and file types - but I'm guessing the boys in the big house will have a real nice Christmas this year. There's always something new to learn. -

Re: Ford's on a Roll
American manufacturers are doing good recovering from the manufactured stock crash.... it's not even news, it's like Boeing firing all those people after 9/11 saying that the travel market was going to crash.... no, it didn't - it was just Boeing taking advantage of a public perception to lose some dead weight.... oh yeah, and Allen Mullay was at helm there as well..... don't forget, Ford is still mortgaged to the hilt - they just owe a different set of people.Doing it all wrong since 1966Comment

Re: Ford's on a Roll
thanks for the clarification Brian - that matches the info I have.
Being in debt is bad, but it's a reality for most businesses who've survived.
Atleast Fords' debt didn't come with bankruptcy and government intervention. There's always something new to learn.Comment
