    1924 Studebaker was $1900 now $18 000!!!!

Spotted this a few days ago listed at $1900. The seller doesn't list much info other than it be a "old car 1924". I have no idea what it is but it seems way cool. The railroad wheels are an added bonus! Anyone care to take a stab at identifying this thing?

For those of you who may be interested, the car is located in Quebec City, QC.

Apparently this car has been identified as a 1924 Studebaker. Seller now claims it as being rare and upped the price 10 fold!

Was $1900 and is now listed for $18 000!!!

I don't know the actual value of the car but it could have been a good deal at its old price :P

I originally guessed that the giant steel wheels on this car were for rail tracks, but I was mistaken - sorry folks! :-[

After a quick search for 1924 Stude's I noticed that some of these road-bound roadsters were equipped with these from the factory - now, those are some steelies! :D

You can check some pics out here:

Yea, my '29 Chevy has the same kind of wheels, but with tires mounted. I never noticed the resemblance to train wheels till now. good call haha!
