    Junkyard Pics

I love scavenging though the local "You Pick It" style junkyards around here.

I saw this today and wondered what is was. I figured someone here would know. Any ideas?

Looks like it was a nice Green 'Woodie' at one time. There was one of these in Car-Craft in the 'C.C. Quickies' section once. ~J/W.

That's what I thought. I saw the front first and said "Look at this Vega", then saw the back and got confused. LOL!

Probably a '71 thru '73. I don't think I've ever seen one WITHOUT it's Fenders removed....they usually rusted to the point that they weren't useable to anybody. I don't think I've EVER seen a Vega Fender in 'an Inventory anywhere either. Odd. Ditto for the origional 4cyl. Engines, you 'never' see 'em with their origional Engines. ~J/W.

An even weirder one here in Nashville:

I looked at a '74 Astre with it's original engine.
