Great to see two great cars on the Chelsea track. I have friends who live just over the back fence from the track but I've never been past the shops at that facility - went to a meeting there once. Someday maybe I can tag along on an SAE outing there (still a member).

208 mph with the aero of a brick is pretty super fast.

I'd like to see them put that horsepower and suspension into a Superbird and hit the track again........

yeah - why not the daytona charger or superbird ? buddy's baker did 201 with what - 800 or so hp
that was a talladega - so a big test track could get up some crazy speed
a stock ZR1 has both cars covered though

I did'nt know Chelsea had so much history! And yes Buddy Baker went 203mph in 1969 with a Daytona Charger. Maybe Hot Raod Magazine outta feature this place? Chad pass it on!

Chelsea and the GM Milford Proving Grounds are both amazing places. I worked at the GMPG in the late 60s/early 70s. In times past those places were impenetrable but in the "new economy" maybe they would allow HRM to take a tour.
