Cory McClenathan won the Top Fuel final over Doug Kalitta with a 3.81 ET to a losing 4.73 for Kalitta. In Funny car it was "fast Jack Beckman" with a 4.12 ET over John Force with a 6.13. Rumor has it that Force was a bit shaken before the run when a Fan came up and told him that in just 5 more years when he turns 65 there were two guys on the B/S website (67Prostreet & Nik2) that said he needed to take a driver's license test along with a test of his reaction skills if he wanted to keep driving. It's rumored that this may have contributed to his loss in the final round!
