6.0 in 3rd gen F-body

So my 03 2500HD has a 6.0 in it, the throttle body needs to be replaced because the throttle by wire is reading off, the water pump is leaking and its not the gaskets, and the exhaust manifolds have 2 broken bolts going into the head.

That said instead of pouring a bunch of money into that motor (has 140,000 mile) I'm thinking of buying a low milage replacement and using the old 6.0 in my 84 Camaro. Does anyone know what it takes to do this install? Any problems? I'm thinking I may be able to run the truck intake if I add a cowl hood, and not need a tv cable if I put a manual valve body in the 700r4. I'll make sure I get an F-body oil pan and a wiring harness for the new motor I buy. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

over on the montySS board there is a sticky on this swap,
yes it's into g Body's not f body's
but there is alot of info on cam's heads running line changes, suppliers for mounts/headers/ etc
and lots of guys that run tunes on their OWN cars..
alot of info on what engine dress fits what other chassis's/etc
and alot of vendor info.. for other parts that you might need..

Also, read up on LS1tech.com. They have a section for LSX engines into anything you can think of. Lots of third gen info.

you have to notch the crossmember for the a/c compressor , check into street and performance in mena , ark , mark has a lot of late model solutions

"For your info, parts expensive", Spohn do LXS chassis parts for the swap.
