Okay guys and gals, what is the trick to getting a speed sensor out of my transaxle? I have tried everything I can get into the limited space I have with no luck. The sensor is now completely broken off with the aluminum plug and o-ring still stuck in its original position. I am hoping I will not need to take it in with my tail between my legs explaining how the sensor got in the state it is now. PLEASE someone send me a magic wand!!

Sorry Dan no pics, the camera is down. It is a 1993 Mercury Villager. same issue I had posted on the tech section a while back that was intermitent. Speedo died today and it seems to be the speed sensor.Comment

I'd PM Min. I'm guessing he didn't see this thread as he's really great about sharing his considerable expertise. He sees pretty much every kind of car sold in the US so he has a better than average chance of having some useful input.
