    Going Up The Country

Who remembers this song, I love this song, I saw The Blindside the other day (great movie) and this was in it, then I come home, and the next day a movie I ordered was in (Woodstock) and it was in it, great old song you never hear on the radio here
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.

I saw Canned Heat in Long Beach CA in 2006 at The Blue Note Cafe bar. They were amazing and they still tear it up after all these years. Surprisingly, there was hardly anyone in the bar that night. It was really cool to see a band like that up close.

Ah man...do I miss the 60's! What a great period despite all of the problems of the time. Yeah, Canned heat was great. What a trip it is when kids today discover 60's music. Turn on, tune in and drop out. Are you experienced?

I was in junior high when that tune was on the radio (AM radio for you kiddies).
Thought it sucked then, and still do.

Canned Heat was a blues band that decided to do something else.

Bob Hite's weird, high vocals were NOT bluesy.
