Hey hey. I havent posted here in a good long while. I sold my Nova and aquired a 67' GTO. Ill make a post with some pics in a little while. Anyhow I need a good aluminum radiator for this car. Its a manual transmission and im keeping the poncho power. It shouldnt be more than about 500 hp. Any suggestions on a bolt in unit? I thought about the summit/Jegs "bolt in" for a 67' Chevelle but im not sure how much of a bolt in deal it is. Im going to use the stock shround and clutch fan i think. Any suggestions?

Re: 67 GTO radiator suggestions?
I put a BeCool dual core aluminum radiator in my Skylark, the version without the trans cooler is cheaper. Haven't had any temp issues with it. It's currently unshrouded and haven't seen an issue, I did have a home made throw together shroud on it that really increased the air pull infront of the engine (as felt standing feet infront of the car) but took it off for other engine work and won't worry about it until I see an issue (if I see an issue).
BeCool has a line of Radiators called "Direct-Fit" and they are OEM cheap, and that's what I got.Escaped on a technicality.Comment

I'm not disagreeing with you about BeCool, but isn't it about -20 below there? Doesn't seem like cooling would be an issue.
BeCool makes really good stuff but they are a bit pricey. I put a Summit rad in m buddys car and it run too cool. As long as it's the size you need, I'd use a SummitCognizant DissidentComment

I have a BeCool universal in my Riviera and I like it but it doesn't run yet so no word on how effective it is, just like the way it fits and the price was right.Central TEXAS Sleeper

And the 114*F stop and go traffic in Vegas? Maintained temp like a champ. Mine was $299.Originally posted by stdOriginally posted by TheSilverBuickI put a BeCool dual core aluminum radiator in my Skylark, the version without the trans cooler is cheaper.
