So I got this wild hair...I'm going to try my luck at ice racing ( http://www.ourgangiceracing.com/Index~ns4.html ). Who has some tips, trick and pointers...or am I just crazy. I'll be taking the F250 and running in the street stock class. The 1st one will be 01/17.

Re: Gonna try the ice ...
So Rick and I finally made it up to Georgetown and went racing today.....What a HOOT.
A locked front diff is NOT good on the ice, every turn the front end just pushed. I finally settled on leaving the pass side hub unlocked and gassed it to get around the turns.
Rick's Yukon did great with the traction control on. But alas, when it came to eliminations, I lost first round due to an exceptionally wide turn that lat a jeep get ahead of me. Rick fell in the second round kinda the same way.....oh well, it was still a blast.
Here's my F250 out on the ice in the middle of the lake:

Here's Rick (mannr here on the forum):

And here's Rick winning 1st round:

He has more pics of me and I'll post them as soon as he gets them to me.Whiskey for my men ... and beer for their horses!Comment

It's held out on Georgetown Res, right off of I70, if your familiar with the area Bryan, it's where everyone stops along the highway to view the bighorn sheep.Whiskey for my men ... and beer for their horses!Comment
