For about a week now every time I get on this site is just drags when loading each page. It takes at least a minute for each page to load after clicking on a link. I don't think it is my computer, since I've switched between 4 different computers both at home and at work, and it drags on each computer. All of the other forums that I visit seem to work normal. This really sucks because I love this site but it takes so long for each page to load that I run out of time on my lunch break before I get to see everything.

Also, none of the banner ads are showing up for me. On most sites this isn't an issue for me, but this site has some pretty cool ads... Is it just me?

Nope, not for me.
Usually over the Holiday's when lots of people are off work, they spend lots more time online.
This slows down the response times for most Internet Service Providers.
Who are you using ?

This site has run slow for me sporadically forever. Loading pages doesn't take a minute - but it takes several seconds - long enough for you to think "this is slow".

Same deal at home and at work.

Another reason to get an imac? ???

never here, it's pretty quick for me both at home and work.

Try a speed test site, and any other network performance tools you can find. Might be dropping packets on your home connection...

Home is usually fine, sometimes slow at work but both are the same ISP

I have super double throw down bill e bad ass internet, and so nothing is ever slow for me. I know I have a problem if something loads slow.

Clear your cache. That is the most likely culprit. If that doesn't work, send me an email with your system setup (computer type, browser, etc.) and we'll do some diagnosis on our end.

I see you guys post that a lot "clear your cache" does that mean the temporary internet files or some thing else and if so where is it? Im just not that computer literate sometimes..no all the time.
