ICE SPEED WEEKEND 2009 - Sweden

Just like Bonneville but on ice in Sweden.
Glenn Ocklund at www.landracing.se wanted me to post this video from last years event.
All kinds of vehicles are welcome to compete in this event.
Check out the 124 mph lawnmower and all the other crazy vehicles in this video ;)

Dude!!! Its stuff like this, and Gasfot's invite to drive the Camaro if I can get to Sweden, that makes me want to climb on the next plane or boat and head that way!!!

The guy in the red jacket is Keith Turk - without Samsonite.

Looks like fun - as long as I can watch it from here. Thanks for posting. SCTA = Scandinavian Coldweather Timing Association. I'm kinda surprised Seldom Seen Slim wasn't there - he LOVES freezing his units off.

How long is the track? What is the top recorded speed? Do they have a 200mph club?

TURK!!!! Are you looking at this? Imagine how beautiful the Camaro would look sitting on the ice..HINT HINT HINT....

You warm weather flunkies aren't leaving me behind on this one. Hell, I'll be the only one alive after the first day. Your two pansy asses will be huddled together in the trailer.

Mark our words....some day, some how we will have the travel budget to attend and potentially die at this event. :D

If he shipped the Camaro there the track would flood. Chad - you KNOW that!
