I just got this from Henry D at Chevy High Performance, who is a member here:
"I won’t get into major details, but I wanted to share this. Last weekend, we were the first car in the history of Wild Street to run back to back 7s, only we did it three times with a 7.93 at 175, 7.94 at 175, and a 7.90 at 176! Not only did we take home the win, but we now own the ET Record with the 7.90 pass.
All said and done, we finished 3rd in the West Coast Hot Rod Association and while we’re still waiting on the PSCA points to be updated, I believe we finished 3rd there too."
Henry and Artis and his team have been pounding HARD on this car for a long time and spending tons of cash. It's great to see magazine guys out there actually living it. Running 7s on Drag Radials is not easy!
Congrats to you guys.

on drag radials??? :o :o :o :o :o
Holy Mother of blessed acceleration!
That's unreal - holy cow.
I can't even imagine being in that stratosphere - I couldn't get the drag radials to hook in my '90 mustang with twisted wedge top end and 3.55 gears with a 5spd, best I got out of that stock shortblock car was 13.15!
sheesh - being on this forum makes me feel totally insignificant!

Ya know that really is cool... Maybe some of Freiburger rubbed off on a few of the higher ups ... or at least made them look the other way so you guys could pursue these deals...
Anytime you step into a serious performance realm and own a record it's a statement about your commitment to the sport... Congrat's.... you guys obviously deserve it...
Keith ( 7 seconds is ... ahh Fairly fast on a sunny day )

Thanks guys, it was a brutal year, but we reached our goals. Just wait until next season, we still have more in it. ;D
Tommygun -
Dave Bowman is in our class and did extremely well this year, however this is Artis' car and we run a 598ci big-block with a three stage nitrous system. And yes, that's on 275 radials.
