If time, money, and skill were no object what would you like to do as far as hot rods.

Mine would be a mix of old and new. A '66 plymouth valient That was plane white with the SRT-4 Motor, 5 speed manual, and nice rake with some 16 inch steelies with the old dog dish hubcaps.

those srt4 motors are awesome to build. me and scott (dieselgeek) did an engine management system on my buddies an it was a monster when we were done with it. :D :D :D

I have an image in my mind of a late 20s early 30s Model A/Chevy looking car. All tube chassis and hand formed sheet metal. BBC because I have one. I'm thinking under 2500lb, so I won't need alot of HP, but enough cam and compression to make it sound wicked.

Thats what I want to do.

What I need to do is go 200mph+ on a motorcycle. Thats the biggest itch I got to scratch.

What he said. Replace the current 351Cs with a pair of matched 427 Clevelands. Paint the Mustang, make it look really good for the wife.

I would like to do a big, badass Fairlane or early (like 63) Galaxy with a blown, injected 500+ CID motor. Just to cruize around in, that is. And a cheap Bullet clone.

The Van obviously needs to be High on the priority list... we need to get the Sign painter involved here and get it started... Wheels and tires... ( I've seen the front wheels... now to find some Cragers for the Back )

a factory five cobra replica kit. a decent 351 and 5speed would make it a fun little ride. anything bigger like a 427 would be a madman.

If I wanted to go relatively easy, '65-'68 Chevelle four door sedan, crate 350, overdrive automatic, 12 bolt, hotchkis stuff underneath, four wheel disc brakes, nice stereo and air. Something I could drive great distances in comfort, haul my wife and dogs around in and not give a rat's a if it got trashed a bit.

Something a bit harder, same years, same four doors but a Tempest-LeMans with Pontiac power, a stroked 400 in place of the crate 350, same running gear, same concept.

Maybe tinker with FI after a bit.

Fer fun? Early '50s John Deere Model 'G'. Lighten rotating assembly, port the heads, grind a new cam, raise the compression, modify the ignition, fuel and clutch. Why? Enter it in stock class tractor pulls, see what she'd do.

Get the stripes, wing, chin spoiler, then graft the scoops onto your hood (you might have to hack up a 70 hood to do it) Buick rallys would be nice too.
